Hugs

Some friends run a parrot rescue and received Jasper some years ago. Jasper is a loving bird. He likes lots of attention and likes to say his name. He reminds anyone who will listen that Jasper is indeed a bird. In this picture, my daughter is snuggling with him while she scratches under his wings. Jasper is quite a character!

All that rain and humidity has been great for the fungus!

I was teaching my youngest to drive in the local cemetery when I spotted this lovely growth.

6 inches of rain last night pretty much flooded the low areas here. I took this picture this evening after most of the waters had receded.

Added Note: Though some of the surrounding Ohio towns sustained some heavy damage from these floods, my little town did pretty well. The creek overflowed it's banks and made a big mess. Roads were closed for a time and we all kind of wondered how we would get from here to there. But compared to what other parts of the country have had to deal with, this is a cake walk!
